We want you to be delighted with your purchase from Spectacle Designer Studio (trading as Oracle Opticians). If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, please review our returns policy below.

1. Your Right to Cancel (UK & EU Customers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s) to us.

2. Conditions of Return
All items must be returned in unworn, unused condition, with all original packaging, cases, cleaning cloths, and paperwork.
Each frame is supplied with a security tag on the bridge, fitted with a holographic security sticker.
If the tag is broken or removed, or if the holographic sticker has been tampered with, removed, or damaged, the item cannot be returned.
Please pack your eyewear carefully in the original case and outer box to avoid damage.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.

3. Prescription Lenses & Bespoke Items
Custom prescription lenses (single vision, bifocal, varifocal, or specialist coatings) are non-refundable, as they are made to your individual specifications.
If you are unsure about frame style or fit, we recommend purchasing the frame only first. Lenses can be fitted once you’re certain.
If an error has been made on our part, we will remake or replace the lenses at no cost.

4. Refunds & Exchanges
Frames without prescription lenses – Full refund when returned in line with the conditions above.
Frames with prescription lenses – Refund will cover the frame cost only (lenses are non-refundable).
Varifocal lenses – As these require an adjustment period, we offer a 30-day adaptation guarantee. If you cannot adapt, we will exchange them for single vision lenses at no additional cost (price difference not refunded).
Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of receiving your return.
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to order a different product, please place a new order once your refund has been processed.

5. Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.Shape
6. Faulty, Incorrect, or Damaged Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. We ask that any issues relating to delivery damage, missing items, or incorrect products are reported to us within 7 days of receipt so we can resolve them quickly with our couriers and suppliers.
Email us with your order number, photographs of the issue, and a description of the problem.
Once confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or full refund (including postage).

7. Bulk Orders & Restocking Fees
Orders of 3 or more frames are considered bulk orders. If all frames are returned, a £10 restocking fee per framewill apply.
For customers with repeated full returns, we reserve the right to apply a 10% restocking fee on future orders to help keep our prices fair for all customers.

8. Non-Returnable Items
Gift cards and vouchers.
Clearance or final sale items (clearly marked as non-returnable).

9. Warranty
All frames are covered by a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty against faults in materials or workmanship.
This does not cover accidental damage, scratches, or loss.
