Our Story - Meet the Founder

I’m Jag Kainth BSc (Hons) MCOptom, founder and ophthalmic director of Oracle Opticians and Spectacle Designer Studio. After nearly two decades in the optical industry, I set out to create something different — a space where clinical excellence and human connection come together.

When I opened Oracle Opticians in Shipley, my vision was simple: to build a practice where people felt seen, valued, and genuinely cared for. Over the years, I’ve met countless individuals who had lost confidence in the system — people who felt rushed or unheard. My goal was to change that by bringing back what truly matters in healthcare: time, expertise, and trust.

Spectacle Designer Studio was born from that same belief. It’s not just about selling designer eyewear; it’s about curating something meaningful.
